Since I was young it was as clear as mud to me what path to run. As my parents Peter (successful up to S-classes) and Renate (successful up to M-classes in jumping and up to S-classes in dressage) where "contaminated" by the "virus horse riding" as well as my brothers (both successful up to M-classes) it was not far-fetched that same happened to me.

When I was nine years old I took part at my first horse show. My companions were "Little Joe" and "Flambeau" - I owe a lot to them. They were one of the best horses to study riding. Once your took the wrong distance and you learned how hard the fooding can be. But at last we got into each other and won series of  L- and M-classes.

At the age of 12 I was able to win my first M-class in jumping with "George". At the age of 14 I got the "golden medal". When I turned 16 and school was ended I got the chance to go to the stables of Olympic Champion Franke Sloothaak - and took it. During this instructive time I could win two silver medals  and two gold medals at European Championships, two silver medals at German Championships and win the "Preis der Besten".

My apprenticeship startet when I was 18. The first year I was at Kurt Gravemeier, the second at DOKR Warendorf. During this time my successes were very satisfying: One silver medal and one gold medal at the European Championships, one silver medal at the German Championships, two gold- and one silver-medal at the "Preis der Besten".

In 2001 I returned to the parental business with passed exam (Bereiter - Stensbeck-Plakette in silver)

A offer to go to one of Bavarias most famous stables attracted my to move away from home to wonderful Bavaria. Since november 2002 I'm now self employed.

Retroperspectively, I'm proud that I was able to ride on famous horse shows like CHIO Aachen, Calgary, Derby Hamburg, Berlin, World Cup Final Leipzig, CSIO Athen and further more. My task now is taining horses to be able to ride at theses places again, one time. 

Last but not least I would like to give thanks to my parents, especially. Without them nothing would have been possible. Further I'd like to give thanks to all of my mentors like Franke Sloothaak, Manni Kötter, Kurt Gravemeier, H.-W. Johannsmann, Fritz Lutter, Georg Bödicker and to all the others I was allowed to ride at training lessons.

My successful horses:

Clemens		Liberty Multible winner of Landes-, Deutschen-, und Europameisterschaften, lot's of wins at Grand Prix and Nation Cups. Evebody has "the one" horse: Mine was Liberty.		Glondyke Double European Champion  in Moorseele (Belgien). A horse as you got it only once in livetime. When "the fight" seems to be lost, then there was Glondyke.
Liebelei won the "Preis der Besten", Horse in European Championchips of 1999 and 2000 Extraordinary mare that fights for the win. The fastest horse, I ever had.		San Patrinano Ultime He made it possible to start riding the "Big Sport" Wins in Grand Prixes as well as medals in German and European Championchips. Came from my mentor Franke Sloothaak, originally.		Aram´s Way wins the Grand Prix of Jüterbog. Miltible places up to S*** When starting my selfemployment he was the one who allowed me to start at Grand Prixes *** again.
Luky Luke The most successful horse, I ever had. Places in Derby's of Hamburg and Calgary, World Cup Series etc.		Bugsbunny Silver medal at German Championships in Bad Oynhausen. Wins in national an international Grand Prixes.
